Here at London Learning Consortium, we have two pathways for those aged 16 or over.
You can either enrol in one of our new Study Programmes or if you are already employed and want to upskill then you can apply for one of our apprenticeships. Let’s take a look at both of the pathways below.
Study Programmes:
Our Study Programmes consist of five key elements carefully crafted to ignite your success:
1. Main Technical and Professional Qualification: This is the vocational work-related pathway you have chosen to study. Take your pick from our exciting range of options, including:
- Games Development and Digital Media
- Coding and Cyber Security
- Digital Marketing and Business Enterprise
2. English Mastery: We’ve got your back! For those who have not achieved a grade 4 or above, we’ll help you level up your English skills, ensuring you’re well-equipped to conquer any challenge that comes your way.
3. Maths Skills: For those who have not achieved a grade 4 or above. Our dedicated team will guide you through the world of mathematics, equipping you with the essential Maths skills needed to shine in your future endeavours.
4. Employability Skills: We’re not just about the books; we’re all about practicality too! Our study programmes focus on developing your employability skills, including valuable work experience. We want you to thrive in the real world and become an irresistible force in the job market.
5. Personal and Professional Development: It’s time to unleash your full potential! Through our study programmes, you’ll embark on a journey of personal and professional development, gaining essential soft skills that will set you apart from the crowd.
Our Study Programmes are around 36 weeks long and you can study your Maths & English qualification alongside your vocational subject.
You will gain knowledge from one of our industry-expert tutors and will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in a work placement.
If you are a student in our Study Programmes, you have access to help with travel and lunch vouchers. We also provide you with employment-related support once your study programme ends. We help you put your best foot forward in finding employment or further education opportunities.
Apprenticeships:
Here at LLC we also have the apprenticeship pathway which learners can be 16 or over and employed or unemployed. This pathway is much quicker if you are employed as all we need to do is connect you with one of our dedicated tutors.
An apprenticeship is a great paid work opportunity for people over the age of 16 in England who are:
- Early in their career
- Looking to upskill in their current job looking for a career change
- Not in full-time education Apprenticeships are an exciting paid option for anyone wanting to gain experience, upskill or change career because they offer the chance to earn a wage whilst they work and study.
We have a range of levels to choose from when considering an apprenticeship, we have a variety of level 2 – level 5 apprenticeships.

Learners will receive a wide range of support including an initial Information, advice and guidance session to find out the best career path for you. During your apprenticeship with LLC you will be supported by well-being officers, safeguarding officers and much more!
