Employment Related Programmes Overview
Types of Programmes
Employment-related programmes that LLC currently has on offer are as follows:
- Sector-Based Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs): Very short sector-based training leading to a job interview for live vacancies with trusted employers across a range of sectors.
- ESF Academies Career Pathway Programme - Health and Social Care Sector: Tailored employment support for up to six months to help you gain qualifications and experience in the Health and Social Care Sector preparing you for a wide range of live vacancies with employers such as South West London NHS.
- LLC Teachers Development Programme for New Teachers and Assessors: Teaching, Assessing and Learning Support Qualifications with practical work experience and access to live vacancies with LLC to become a member of our teaching team.

Need to be flexible?
You need your studies to fit into your life. We understand. That's why we offer blended methods including online classroom courses, 1:1 mentoring and support and face-to-face classes in a classroom near you!
Need help with costs/access?
Our Employment-Related Programmes are fully funded subject to eligibility. We have financial support available to enable you to attend course-related activities such as childcare, travel etc. We also have a laptop loan scheme for learners who don't have access to suitable IT. We can also support you with internet access if you need it. Our learners can also apply to the London Learning Consortium for additional learning support to get extra help with their studies, this will be discussed during the Initial Advice and Guidance when enrolling.
Need to feel safe?
LLC has followed the government's COVID risk assessment guidelines to make sure our premises are safe for staff and learners. Our main building is based in Croydon, and we also have locations in London and the South East with good transport links. We also have online learning options available.

Explore our Classroom facilities at LLC. We offer excellent support from first-class training facilities to career advice and beyond. In addition, we have state-of-the-art technology to enable flexible attendance to our courses to accommodate our learners' needs.

LLC works closely with a wide range of employers that have live vacancies available to our learners and supported pathways to help them get into employment. Our employers provide a range of support such as work placements, workplace visits and guaranteed interviews to give you the best opportunity possible to secure employment.
