Course Overview
Level 2 qualifications are for those who are new to the housing sector or have been in their first housing role for less than 6 months. The course gives learners a basic introduction to the housing sector and comprises of 4 units. CIH membership is included in the course fee. This qualification is suitable for anyone new to housing or working in a frontline position and wants to improve their general awareness of housing or get their initial qualification.
You may enrol if you are not currently working in housing but are considering a frontline housing position as a career option. It can also be useful for tenants, residents and board members wishing to enhance their personal involvement and understanding of housing.
Applicants must be aged 19 or over, should be confident using IT and have access to a computer. A basic level of literacy is also recommended to complete online tasks.

Entry Requirements
You must live in the UK to apply for this course.
There are no specific sector-recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they've already achieved a Level 1 qualification.
Learners should be working at Level 1 for English and Entry 3 for Maths.
This qualification is suitable for those who work, or who are looking to work in the housing sector. It provides Learners with an opportunity to improve their skills and knowledge in a wide range of housing roles.

This qualification is a competency and knowledge-based qualification which is assessed by completing coursework, and e-assessment producing a portfolio of evidence and assignments.
