LGBT+ History Month takes place every February and offers the chance to celebrate the LGBT culture and progress towards equality and diversity over time. During this month, we reflect on the past and present of the LGBT community. London Learning Consortium is committed to improving the lives of LGBT+ young people through positive education.
How does LGBT History Month promote Equality and Diversity?
In order to promote equality and diversity, LGBT History Month raises awareness and educates the world about key issues that affect the LGBT+ community. We improve our organisations and educational facilities to ensure that we provide a safe place for LGBT+ people.
In addition, LGBT History Month encourages the welfare of the community, the idea that all who belong to the community can contribute to society.
Why do we have LGBT History Month?
It aims to show us that they have always been present and have made significant contributions to society.
LGBT History Month 2022 is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate and learn about its members and the positive impact that they have made within the community. Make sure to follow us on social media to learn how we promote equality and diversity.
