Flexibility of this course: Online Course – Learners should dedicate approximately 5 hours per week over a period of 12 to 16 weeks.

Level 2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
This course is ideal for those seeking in-depth knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), whether for careers in education or health and social care. It also benefits current professionals in these sectors or anyone with a personal interest in SEND.
Flexibility of this course: Classroom/Online – Held once a week for 12 weeks, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
Career opportunities/further study: A career within schools, nurseries and childcare provider settings for such roles but not limited to Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, nursery/preschool worker and more. This may also be useful for those working in the Health and care sector with individuals who have SEND requirements.

Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder
The lack of understanding of the condition makes individuals with autism and their families susceptible to isolation and mental health conditions. The Understanding Autism level 2 course will give an understanding of autism and the principles of supporting individuals with autism.
Flexibility of this course: Classroom Online: One day per week, 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break; Online: On-demand, with learners expected to commit 5 hours per week for 12 weeks.
Career opportunities/further study: Learners who achieve this qualification could progress into further learning and qualifications such as:
- Diploma in Adult care
- Certificate in Healthcare
Some learners may find employment in the Health and Social Care sector.
