Women’s History Month March 2023

This month is Women’s History Month and here at LLC, we thought it would be a great additional way to show how much we care about our Women Tutors. The theme this year is “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories” Which is exactly what our female tutors do throughout their days at LLC.

What is Women’s History Month about?

Women’s History Month has been celebrated as a month that recognises women past and present for telling their stories to pursue truth, and happiness and to portray important messages about equality. It celebrates women’s contributions to history, society and culture.

For LLC we don’t only show our thanks to the women here in the month of March, we do it every day as much as we can as part of our company culture. This is why we believe raising awareness for this important month is so crucial to help others do the same for the important women in their lives.

What can you do to support the inspirational Women in your life:

• Say thank you! A simple thank you can go a long way for a friend, colleague or even a family member.
• Show your appreciation with an act of kindness. Holding the door open or even just smiling at someone can make a huge difference to their day.
• Let the women voice their mind. It is so important that as we move forward in providing equality for women that we allow them to share their stories!
• Donate to a charity that supports the growth of women in business or careers. For example, Girls not Brides or Malala Fund. 

Keep your eyes peeled on our socials this month as each week we will feature one of our spectacular tutors and a little thank-you note from one of their learners!
