Women’s History Month 2022

Women’s History Month is a month-long recognition of significant women throughout history who have had an impact on society. During this month, we honour women in history, and encourage women to continue to change history.

Interview with Geraldine Davids

Geraldine is a dedicated, diligent and passionate tutor here at LLC. Nonetheless, every job role comes with its challenges, let’s find out what Geraldine’s main challenge as a woman during her career as a tutor has been and how she overcame it.

Mother’s Day

A mother’s love is indescribable, there is no gift, card or kind word that we can give or say that expresses our appreciation for all the sacrifices that were made. A mother is selfless, forgiving and patient; so quick to give the unimaginable and never asks for anything in return.

We at LLC would like to say thank you to all the mothers within LLC and around the world we love you and treasure you all! 🥰

Women Icons

Iconic women are everywhere; you can find them in politics, in business, in sports, the film and music industry and many more. Let’s remember and celebrate these iconic women but let’s also celebrate the iconic women in our midst, the ones who are often forgotten.

Mary Seacole: During the Crimean War, she treated injured soldiers and was awarded with the Jamaican Order of Merit in 1991.

Rosa Parks: A catalyst in the Montgomery Bus Boycott during the Civil Rights Movement in 1955.
