Croydon Business Excellence Awards

LLC shortlisted Best Charity or Social Enterprise

London Learning Consortium – LLC, has been shortlisted in Best Charity or Social Enterprise Category in the Croydon Business Excellence Awards 2019.

The 5th annual Croydon Business Excellence Awards 2019 received a record number of entries, with 111 being shortlisted across 14 categories.

Praising the high quality of submissions, independent adjudicator and business consultant Jerry Irving said the challenge of judging them had been a “pleasure.”

Jerry, who has been an independent enterprise growth consultant since 2001, was delighted to see so many entries for the Best Charity or Social Enterprise, and the Commitment to the Community categories. He said this demonstrated how the Awards are keen to recognise the vital contribution these organisations make to the welfare of Croydon’s diverse communities.

He commented: “This year’s Awards have attracted entries from all sectors and of all sizes; from sole traders to nationally recognised corporates. I believe this is a true reflection of the passion of the Croydon business sector to be involved in the borough’s regeneration and economic development success alongside their desire to be recognised for their contributions.”

Stephen Jeffery, Chief Executive Officer, London Learning Consortium, said: “LLC is very pleased to be nominated in this category along with other fantastic organisations. There is only one winner and they are the people of CROYDON we all help.”

The winners of the awards programme, which celebrates the successes and achievements of the borough’s booming business community, will be exclusively announced on Thursday, 3rd October 2019.
