As you’ll have seen on the news over the last few days, with increased concern of the Omicron variant, the Government guidance around the wearing of face masks has changed. This means that from today, Tuesday 30th November 2021, face coverings will once again be compulsory in shops and on public transport.
In line with this, we have received advice specific to education settings that face coverings are strongly advised in communal areas, this includes all staircases, corridors, kitchens and learner common rooms.
Face masks are available from reception and we encourage all students to take lateral flow tests twice per week and upload their results to Report a COVID-19 rapid lateral flow test result. Test kits are also available on request.
