It’s out with the old, and in with the new here at LLC. Over the past year, we have been working really hard to provide a new website that is organised, user-friendly and beneficial to our learners.
What’s new?
For starters, we have a fantastic new Accessibility and Language Support tool, available on every landing page on the website. LLC believes in being inclusive by providing accessibility and usability.
We pride ourselves on being a company that goes the extra mile to always improve communication and quality of service for our customers and staff. To fulfil this mission, we now provide an Accessibility and Language Support tool, an assistive technology on our website, to enable all our website visitors to customise their experience in a way that best suits individual’s needs.
1 in 5 people in the UK has a disability that can prevent website users from reading and understanding online content. Those who are most susceptible to access barriers are those who struggle with:
- Decreased vision
- Learning difficulties
- Literacy
- Language/linguistic problems
- Attention disorders
- Physical disabilities
Our Accessibility and Language Support tool provides support for all of these, making our website inclusive and a place where people can access information hassle-free.
Why did we decide to add a new Accessibility and Language Support tool?
Did you know that 2 million people in the UK have a visual impairment?
The Accessibility and Language Support software implemented on our website provides users with the opportunity to customise their experience in a way that suits their individual access needs. The toolbar includes screen reading functionality, multiple reading aids, and an on-demand live translation feature that boasts over 100 languages including 65 texts to speech and styling options. This includes changes to the font size, type, and colour.

Our new course search function makes it super easy (and quick) to find any course you are looking for. You can filter the courses through the delivery method, level, age requirement, sector and type of programme. Then, it will suggest the programmes that may be most suitable for you based on your selection.

The usability of our new site makes everything much more easily accessible, with the new drop-down menus, the clean organisation, and multi-search functions. It has never been easier to search for your next course with LLC.
The new site is also mobile-friendly so that you can apply for courses from anywhere in the world.
Another new feature we have introduced is the newsletter! You can now sign up for our free monthly newsletter for course information and start dates, job opportunities, and some useful tips to get you back into work or education.
Another new feature of our website is that you can now share our content via email, social media or text!
