National Apprenticeship Week 2022 is the 15th annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships, taking place between 7th-13th February 2022.
The week brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
Build the future
The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2022 will be ‘Build the Future’; reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.
Events listing
A range of activities will be taking place across England to showcase how apprenticeships have helped businesses of all sizes and sectors across England.
There will be over 1,200 virtual and in-person events targeted at a range of audiences. This includes stakeholders, businesses, training providers and schools. Find more information here.

Employers can apply for a payment of £3,000 for new apprentices with an employment start date from 1 October 2021 to 31 January 2022.
You must set up an apprenticeship service account before you can apply.
Eligibility
You can apply for apprentices with an employment start date from 1 October 2021 to 31 January 2022.
They will also need to have an apprenticeship start date from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.
Applications close on 15 May 2022.

Congratulations to Shanique Wright who has achieved a Distinction in her Business Administration apprenticeship while working at London Learning Consortium.
Shanique comments, “This has changed my life for the better as I was able to earn and learn at the same time, by doing this I have gained new skills and knowledge to enhance my ability and future prospects. In addition, being an apprentice taught me that it’s never too late to do what you really want to do”.
