London Learning Consortiums’ Virtual Annual Award Celebration event took place on Friday, the 18th of June, in order to recognise the learners’ achievements and celebrate their success for our Academic Year 2020/21.
Our awards ceremony has been reinvented this year to acknowledge how well learners and tutors have adapted and innovated when faced with the challenges of COVID-19. The event was attended by LLC Learners accompanied by their Family and Friends, Board Members, Tutors, Partners, and other LLC Staff.
LLC is very proud to share how we have celebrated the resilience of our learners and staff, through the toughest of times and recognise their commitment and dedication. Despite it all, we have achieved great success, through working together to serve our communities, amidst a global pandemic.
Commenting on the awards, Dr Calvin Pike, Chair of LLCs Board of Non-Executive Directors and Interim Chair of the Quality Curriculum and Performance Committee (QCAP), said: “This year’s Award Ceremony highlights the determination and continued engagement of LLC’s learners throughout the pandemic. Congratulations to every one of them on their successes and huge thanks to LLC staff and leaders for their skills and commitment, enabling learners to achieve despite the challenges that Covid has brought”.
Stephen Jeffery, Chief Executive Officer, London Learning Consortium, said: “It has been a difficult year for us all but what has been so very rewarding is the continued hard work and accomplishment of our learners many of whom have never experienced online learning before enrolling with LLC”.
