Course Overview
Did you know that 89% of teachers report feeling that their work makes a meaningful difference in the world?
It is undeniable that a career in teaching will not only shape the lives of the students who are taught but also provides personal and professional fulfilment.
If you’re passionate about sharing knowledge and shaping future generations, but need support with the training and qualifications to get started, London Learning Consortium (LLC) is here to help! Whether you’re transitioning into teaching or enhancing your skills, we offer the guidance and resources to set you on the right path.
The City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Education and Training has been designed to provide an introduction to teaching for individuals who would like to work or currently work within FE Colleges, Independent Training Providers and/or Local Authorities.
Becoming a teacher allows you to inspire and shape young minds, especially in a subject like statistics, which equips students with critical thinking and data analysis skills. Teaching post-16 students is particularly rewarding, as they are more focused and preparing for their future careers or higher education. The benefits of teaching at this level include engaging with more mature learners, helping them develop valuable life skills, and contributing to their academic and professional success.
