    The Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching & Learning in Schools is just the course for you! It is designed for learning support staff with a working role which requires competence in a specialist area and/or across a varied range of responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to work under the direction of a teacher who has overall responsibility for teaching and learning in the classroom. It does not stop there you will also  play a key role in crafting, executing, and assessing engaging learning activities, collaborating closely with the teacher to energize whole-class sessions. Plus, you’ll have the exciting chance to work independently with individual students or small groups, making a direct impact on their educational journey!

    There are 15 units & a mandatory work placement (6-8 hours per week) in a suitable classroom setting where a minimum of two observations will be carried out as part of the assessment process.
