Are you an organized, proactive and discreet professional with a keen eye for detail? Do you have a passion for governance, compliance, and executive-level support? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team.
We are looking for a Executive Assistant providing high-level administrative and executive support to the CEO and working closely with our Chair and Vice Chairs as Governance Clerk for the Board.
This is a varied and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to contribute to strong organisational leadership, ensuring regulatory compliance and helping shape strategic priorities.
Salary: £15 per hour
Location:On-site & Remote-based as required.
Contract Type: 21 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Support the CEO with diary management, high-level correspondence, research, and project administration.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external CEO & governance-related queries
- Provide secretariat support for Board and Committee meetings, including preparing agendas, taking accurate minutes and managing follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate governance records, including registers of interest and compliance logs.
- Ensure governance policies and frameworks are up to date and compliant with relevant regulations
- Coordinate the annual governance calendar and support trustee and senior leadership onboarding and developmen
Requirements
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities
- Experience in an executive assistant, governance, , or administrative leadership role.
- Exceptional organisational and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with discretion, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of charity, education or public sector governance (desirable but not essential).
