The London Learning Foundation – LLF is a health charity, which develops and supports FREE LOCAL PROJECTS that promote health and wellbeing, to young people and adults over 19 within the borough of Croydon. Find more information about LLF here.

LLF will be launching the Spaces with Places project in partnership with Good Food Matters in New Addington on Tuesday 4th February.  The project is for training and teaching people how to plant individual window boxes for 8 weeks as well as educating participants on the link between eating healthily and improved mental health.

Giving local people like yourselves the opportunity to be innovative and experience wellbeing through social connectedness. As well as equipping you with skills that can take you into employment or further training. We want you and the rest of our communities to flourish, whilst having fun!

During this short project you will learn:         

  • Containers – making/upcycling.
  • Biodiversity
  • Pests and diseases mildew
  • Principles of growing
  • Soil and composting
  • Flowers

And so much more!

  • Project Start: Tuesday 4th Feb at 9:30 am – 2:30 pm, and you can join any time!
  • Project Length: 8 Weeks. (Only 5 hours a week!). Excludes half term
  • Must be 19+ and not in employment or education.
