Social Housing Managers Must Gain Professional Qualifications Under New Rules to Protect Residents

In light of recent government actions with regard to the quality of the lives of social housing residents, the government is making it mandatory for all social housing managers to have a minimum Level 4 qualification in Housing Management.

This is in line with the Social Housing (Regulations) Bill which will give Regulators new tougher powers to hold landlords to account. Social Housing managers must gain professional qualifications under new rules to protect residents and help raise standards in the Social Housing sector.
