The Mayor will be hosting his first Adult Learning Awards, to celebrate adult learning in the capital and recognise the achievements and contributions of learning providers, employers and community organisations. The Awards are a key part of the Mayor’s commitment to raise awareness of opportunities for adult learning and the benefits it brings, as set out in the Skills Roadmap for London and his mission to help Londoners into good work in London’s key sectors. From ESOL to vocational training, adult learning is supporting Londoners to gain the skills they need for life and work and is playing a key role in the Mayor’s mission to help Londoners into good work in sectors key to London’s recovery.
