Positive Directions

Are you aged 16-24, living in South London and not in employment, education or training?

If so, our Positive Directions programme is for you. We can support you by providing individualised support, training and work experience that will help you stand out above the rest. You will be able to select from a menu of options, tailored to your needs.

Free Training
We are offering you the chance to gain qualifications in Customer Service, Enterprise Skills, English & Maths, Employability Skills, and much more.

Work Experience
We are offering you the chance to gain work experience in sectors related to your interests, these can include, Army Residentials, Administration, Customer Service, Retail and much more.

Mentoring & 1-1 Support
You will be offered tailored support e.g. interview skills, preparing for work and career planning, effective communication and self-development including confidence-building and self-esteem.

Positive Direction Next-Steps
After you’ve finished the training and mentoring with us, we will work with you to source your Positive Direction Next Steps – these can include traineeships, apprenticeship, employment, self-employment or further education.


Entry Requirements

Programme participants need to be: Not in employment, education or training. Aged 16 - 24 years old. Live in Croydon, Merton, Richmond, Sutton or Kingston. Have been a resident in the UK for three years on the first day of learning’s academic year.


Qualification

Learners will complete accredited and non-accredited training and achieve certification for these.

Hours

Learners attend 2 days per week 9:30 am – 4:30 pm for 3-6 months dependent on starting points. Learners will also attend work experience as required
