Demand for Adult Social Care is constantly increasing as people who use the services are living longer; meaning there is a raising need for quality providers of care.     • Unit 5: Introduction to the duty of care in health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings.

    • Unit 7: Understand person-centred approaches in adult social care settings.
    • Unit 8: Understand health and safety in social care settings.
    • Unit 9: Understand how to handle information in social care settings.

    • You must live in the UK to apply for this course.
    • There are no specific sector-recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they've already achieved a Level 1 qualification.
    • Learners should be working at Level 1 for English and Entry Level 3 for Maths.

    All units will be individually assessed by LLC tutors using a range of assessment methods and will be checked by an internal verifier.

    To be eligible for full funding, you must meet the following criteria:

    • Must be aged 19 or over.
    • Must not have previously completed this course.
    • Must have been living in the EU for the last 3 years.
    • Must live in England.


    If you are working you may also be eligible for part funding or choose to pay for your course.
