London Learning Foundation

For social improvement and well-being

The London Learning Foundation was formed in May 2013. It is a wholly owned charitable subsidiary of London Learning Consortium.

The Foundation is to provide financial and other support for the delivery of education programmes and research projects that are focussed on London’s diverse and growing communities. We aim to specialise in activities that either have, or that research indicates could have, proven impact in our communities.

Education programmes may be accredited, non accredited or just experiential or experimental in nature and the activities that the Foundation undertakes will use mixed mediums or vehicles for their delivery. They are to be aimed at supporting individuals and/or communities to develop and progress towards social improvement and well-being.

The Foundation will pursue public benefit through the promotion of educational initiatives and projects, increased well-being of the residents and communities in our areas of benefit as well as increase in educational and economic opportunities for Greater London residents. Although there may be work generated across England and Wales, or even internationally, our main focus are activities throughout London.

It 2018/19 the Foundation is to take over the running of London Voices Citizen Journalism Competition.
