Our programmes involve detailed training needs analysis sessions for individuals or an organisational training needs analysis to help employers plan their workforce development needs.

We are seeking to further expand our motivated and highly skilled workforce and are currently recruiting for the following positions:

  • Management Information Services (MIS/Data) Manager

    Management Information Services (MIS/Data) Manager

    London Learning Consortium (LLC) provides high quality accredited Further Education classroom and apprenticeship training to local communities and businesses across London.

    We are recruiting a key new role reporting directly to the Finance Director with responsibility for managing, analysing and reporting on funding and learner data.

    We are looking for someone who is highly numerate, has advanced IT, analytical and communication skills, who is confident using a range of IT tools and who will work closely with the senior management team to facilitate effective corporate decision making.
    Education (FE or HE) experience is desirable. Must have excellent IT, Data Management, Reporting and Modelling Skills.

    Responsibilities include:

    • To have overall responsibility for the integrity, accuracy and completeness of learner and other corporate data (hands on role)
    • To provide accurate and clear data analysis and reporting to both internal and third-party users.
    • To be the 'Company expert’ on all funding compliance rules and curriculum developments to ensure adherence to these.
    • To ensure the Company maximises its funding from all funding agencies, employers and learners.
    • To be responsible for using the Company's data cleaning processes to ensure the learner data is compliant with Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA regulations. Systems used in these processes will include Funding Information System (FIS), Provider Data Self-Assessment Toolkit (PDSAT), the Hub and the Funding Rules Monitoring Reports.
    • Responsible for European Social Fund (ESF) Data Analysis.

  • ESF Community Grants Project Manager

    ESF Community Grants Project Manager

    London Learning Consortium (LLC) provides high quality accredited Further Education classroom and apprenticeship training to local communities and businesses across London.

    We are recruiting a key new role reporting to the Contracts & Audit Manager with responsibility for managing the ESF Community Grant contracts.

    We are looking for someone who is highly numerate, has advanced IT, analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the ESFA funding methodology as well as knowledge of the ESFA’s audit and compliance requirements.
    Education (FE or HE) experience is essential. Must have excellent IT, Contract Management experience and experience of Implementing and Managing Quality Systems..

    Responsibilities include:

    • Responsible for managing ESF Community Grant projects, contractual responsibilities and performance against the relevant funding profile to ensure that the organisation meets all quality, legal, LEP and funding body requirements as appropriate.
    • Contribute to the development of a framework of project ESF Community Grants policies, systems and procedures to govern grant provision which ensure project delivery is of a high standard from end to end and including onward progression.
    • Responsible for coordinating quarterly grant panels, grant awards, contracts, budget monitoring and delivery profiles for successful grant delivery partners in line with commissioning outcomes.
    • Contribute to the production and implementation of an annual plan of monitoring activities and performance review activities with grant delivery partners in conjunction with the Contracts and Audit Manager, Director of Operations and Quality Manager.
    • To monitor partners' progress towards outcome targets against the approved grant award, and to submit monitoring reports forecasting grant project numbers/participant numbers, funding and outcomes to LLC SMT, Board and external stakeholders as required.
    • To be responsible for monitoring grants, budget expenditure and Data Compliance for the organisation to ensure that all Community Grants funding claims are robust, valid and reliable, reporting non-compliance and proposing remedial action to SMT as required.

    Functional Skills (Maths and English) (Classroom Provision) Level 1 & 2 - Freelance

    London Learning Consortium (LLC) provides high quality accredited Further Education classroom and apprenticeship training to local communities and businesses across London.

    LLC are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly motivated Functional Skills Tutor to deliver this vocational qualification in a classroom setting.

    ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

    • Qualified to at least PTTLS level
    • Core skills to Level 2 in English, Maths & ICT
    • Experience in teaching English and/or Maths and or ICT
    • Outstanding personal written and verbal communication skills

    DESIRED CRITERIA:

    • Experience of working with adult learners
    • Working towards or have achieved a Level 4/5 Subject Specialist qualification in Literacy and/or Numeracy
    • Excellent ICT Skills

    Applicants should have recent relevant classroom teaching experience, as well as comprehensive knowledge and previous experience of delivering ‘Functional Skills Maths & English’ qualification as a classroom provision.

    Pay for Freelance Tutors depends on the level of the course and is paid at an hourly rate over the duration of the framework or qualification.

    London Learning Consortium are looking to recruit occupationally competent experienced staff who hold appropriate teaching qualifications and subject specialist qualifications to train in the following vocational programme:

    • TA – Level 2 & 3
