Salary: £40,932 to £50,398 pa inclusive of £1,755 pa Outer London Weighting.

London Learning Consortium (LLC) is a Community Interest Company that works for the benefit of communities and businesses across London and the south east. We provide a range of training and education services both directly and through our partners and subcontractors.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Financial Accountant to lead the Finance function for LLC and our subsidiaries. The main purpose of the role is to manage day to day accounting, to ensure the accuracy and clarity of data recorded and reported, to ensure compliance with current financial standards, legislation and internal monitoring and reporting requirements.
The key areas of accountability and responsibility of the post are; supplier payments, sales invoicing and debt collection, bank reconciliations, monthly accruals and prepayments, petty cash and balance sheet reconciliations, VAT accounting, SAGE account management, preparation of management and statutory accounts, budgets and weekly cashflow forecasting.
The applicant should be a fully qualified accountant, have good technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail. They should be able to communicate clearly to and be able to support non-financial staff, external stakeholders and Directors.
